Job description: Meetish InfoTech Pvt Ltd is looking for looking for a Public Relations (PR) to organize and oversee PR activities and ensure effective communication with clients, media, and the public. As a PR, you should be an organized and cool-tempered professional who is able to handle a tough situation. Required Candidate profile:

Responsibilities:

Studying the organization s objectives, promotional policies and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote company, its products, ideas and services.
Planning, developing and implementing media plans to generate favorable coverages around the management team, the company and its accomplishments
Generating media coverages and creating constant media buzz to help company stay ahead of its competitors and grow its business in the market
Developing media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and digital media
Responding to requests for information release or press conference from the media or designating a spokesperson or source of information
Manage media inquiries and interview requests
Create content for press releases, by-line articles and keynote presentations
Building relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
Exploring opportunities at relevant industry awards and conferences, think tanks, industry groups and forums

Skills:

Minimum 5-6 years related experience in Public Relations, with at least 3 years work in an established PR Agency.
Proven experience of working with traditional, electronic, online and social media.
With established media relationships at senior levels.
Strategic thinker with an eye for results-oriented PR campaigns
Strong writing, communication and research skills- including content creation/ editing.
Ability to travel in India and overseas- including leading media familiarization trips overseas.
To effectively pitch stories to the media in order to drive coverage for the client
Coordinate all Public Relations activities
To be able to create effective media plans for clients across PR parallels, Manage media inquiries and interview requests
To update media lists on a daily basis
To track newspapers, web and magazines on a daily basis
To be able to creatively and effectively write press releases and other written material
Good written and communication skills
Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets

~~Bachelor s degree in journalism, PR, Marketing or related field~~
~~Proven working experience of (5-6) years in public relations required~~
~~Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level~~
~~Exceptional media relations, especially with Advertising and Marketing media~~
~~Ability to pitch media to relevant media and generate desirable coverage~~
~~Knowledge of B2B marketing~~
~~Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives~~
~~Deadline oriented with great follow-up and reporting skills~~
~~Quick and enthusiastic learner~~
~~Willing to travel when necessary and entertain clients regularly~~

Requirements:

Must be a confident communicator and presenter
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships
Coordinate all public relations activities
Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
Manage media inquiries and interview requests
Create content for press releases, by-line articles and keynote presentations
Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.

A quick thinker who can adapt to a fast-paced start-up environment and work with minimum supervision.
