What will you do every day?

You will develop content for all our marketing communications, including marketing collateral, web-pages, blogs, article, website, e-mailers, social media, PR etc. You will also help distribute content across various mediums and platforms. Essentially, you will play a role wherever there is content involved across the company. Last, but not least, while you work hard, you should also be able to have fun at work and make friends with your colleagues.

What is the work like?

The types of projects and clients vary widely, although some copywriters may specialise in an industry sector. They may also specialise in producing copy for:

  • Above the line advertising, which uses mass media like TV, cinema, interactive media, posters and radio scripts to promote brands.
  • Below the line advertising, which uses less conventional methods that focus on direct means of communication, like brochures, leaflets, press advertisements and direct mail.
  • The copywriter is responsible for taking a client's advertising brief and generating original copy ideas that grab the attention of the target audience. This can include creating straplines, slogans, body copy, jingles and scripts.
  • Produce creative ideas for CRM campaigns as well as standalone requirements such as emailers, banners, push/WhatsApp notifications, sms, social media posts/ads, blogs, websites, newsletters, infographics, etc.
  • Advertising Copywriting promoting "Reason to Buy" and "Reason to Believe" for paid performance. For Example, Facebook, Instagram, Google etc. The outcome expected is to make Click worthy content driving traffic to the Website and converted into purchases.
  • Ideating everyday Instagram Posts and making captions based on Brand Personality and Brand Vision. The outcome expected is Instagram Page communicating clear brand philosophy and evoking emotions from community resulting in it being the most loved Page.
  • Proofread copy before handoff to Design, Development, and/or print production.
  • Work closely with the Art Director and Community Manager to develop and execute creative concepts for campaigns.
  • Work independently, write both long and short copy – from print ads to advertorials; brochures to films, AVs and radio spots; social media posts to blogs.
  • Convert briefs into delightful pieces of communication.

Ok, you're sold, but what are we looking for in the perfect candidate?

Develop long-form and short-form content for a range of mediums, including marketing collaterals, e-books, web-pages, blogs, articles, e-mailers, social media, PR, ad-copies, etc.

  • Prepare content calendars, and facilitate content distribution.
  • Coordinate with product and sales teams to develop collateral such as sales decks, one-pagers, technical documents, etc.
  • Work with graphic designers to develop content for social media, paid ads, web-pages, e-books etc.
  • Manage social media and paid digital marketing campaigns end-to-end.
  • Collaborate with external partners to promote company created content.
  • Carry out competitor research and help define the target buyer persona.
  • Collaborating for campaigns with creative team, and designers.
  • Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
  • Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
  • Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
  • Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
  • As the Senior Copywriter, you will be working in the content team to create copy that drives online direct response through various acquisition funnels.
  • Conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns
  • Write clear and persuasive copy for websites, ads, brochures, funnels, landing pages, and emails, newsletters and more.
  • Write long form copy and adapt your writing style as needed for the multiple campaigns
  • Prioritize multiple projects, deliver highly effective and creative work
  • Collaborate with team members at all levels to ensure projects are consistent with best practices, brand guidelines, compliance and overall project goals
  • Write drip sequences and marketing collaterals aiming to convert opt-ins to paying subscribers

Requirements*

  • 2-4 years of experience in content creation and marketing communications in the B2B space
    (experience in a product SaaS company would be ideal).
  • Bachelors or Masters in English, Communication, PR, Journalism or Marketing
  • 3-6 yrs. writing Content/Copy in a Marketing/Ad/Digital/Social media agency
  • Ability to understand briefs & translate them into high impact content/ creatives
  • Excellent command over written & verbal communication
  • Understanding of Social, Mobile & Digital platforms/channels
  • Ability to multitask & manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong storytelling skills

  • Capacity to communicate well with stakeholders as well as team members
  • A quick thinker who can adapt to a fast-paced start-up environment and work with minimum supervision.
